Nothing Was Any Fun Anymore

So this is it.  This is my life from now on.  How could I have been so stupid?

I thought nothing was any fun any more.  New foods always disappointed, new games were lame... Even finding a new girl to sleep with every weekend got to be samey.

I heard about a being who could... shake things up.  It took a few weeks, but I finally tracked down the necessary rituals and ingredients to summon it.

The being came, all glittery and elfin, and merely laughed when it looked at me.  I have to admit, I was scared out of my mind.  But it was EXCITING!

"I know what you seek, but do you?"

"Of course," I said.  To be honest, I was no longer sure.

"Very well.  If you are certain, then let us cure you of your burden.  Let's give you a whole new perspective..."

There was a flash, and searing pain, then nothing.  I woke up from that to discover my new life.  I was now seventeen-year old Melanie Andrews, a junior at Morris High in Autumn Bay, New york.

I waas in no way ready for that.  I'm a guy, or at least I was.  Sure, I had the proper wardrobe and identification, and YouTube videos to help with what I don't know.

I tried to re-summon the entity, but to no avail.

So now it's back to school, but this time worrying about periods, shaving in strange places, weird underwear, and guys trying to put the moves on me.
